The dice I received were mostly clear (aside from the sparkles), but the large D20 had significant yellowing going on. Admittedly, you can see the yellowing in the picture. I'm not completely sure why this was a chosen aspect? I went through a lot of paint options before figuring out something that works. I painted the numbers first in either pink or lavender, then covered them with silver to give a more dimensional effect. I think they came out rather well, but I would have preferred a bit more shimmer density on the surface of the dice, which would have made my job much easier. The large D20 I painted gold to mask some of the yellowing, and it came out well.
The shimmer on these is so great. Love them!
Like the story that cautions against judging by appearance, these dice don't look their best at first. It's because they need some ink-love. Afterwards they shine.
