    Mystery Dice... Good

Posted by Ovis on Apr 6th 2019

See I'm not usually the type to just go for mystery grab bags but for once I did. And I'm glad I did so! I might not have liked the color but the dice quality was excellent and it rolls well. Color aside the product was great and I'd love to get another set when I can.

    Roll a D20 for Mystery

Posted by Shawn on Mar 26th 2019

I'm a new adventurer to the D&D realm, so I knew that I wanted to invest in a few good sets of dice. I'd never purchased anything from Kraken Dice before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Shipping was CRAZY FAST! And the packaging? Omahgawd!!! Ahh-mahy-zing! You've made a returning customer out of me, Kraken!

ANYWAY! THE DICE! I received... what I can only describe as a subtle white/creamy-pink color?? Wait, now that I think about it... the color kinda reminds me of pink lemonade! :) I tried going through Kraken's inventory, but I couldn't find anything that looked like 'em. So I'm just gonna say that I received a one-of-a-kind color!!! I'll admit, I'm not a huge fan of pink, but I think I'm going to create a sassy character just to fit the persona of these dice so I can use them!!! Thanks, Kraken! :D

I had a lot of fun opening these and even posted a video of it to my Instagram! Would also be a really neat stocking stuffer or gift basket filler!

    It's about money's worth...

    1. Shipping: took 3 weeks to get to UK!, and because we bought 4 sets of dice, with flat shipping of 4 dollars per item, I had to pay 16 dollars for the shipping for the entire purchase, which is a bit overpriced for sending a small international tracked parcel.
    2. Price: the dices were cheap, that's true but when it arrived in UK I had to pay customs fees of 18 dollars (Tax + handling fees), so at the end it wasn't so cheap after all...
3: The mystery Dices: We bought three mystery sets, My boyfriend got 'snowcone' which looks a bit weird but he likes it, I got 'twilight sky' which was actually what I wanted in the first place! But our friend got a blue-ish acrylic set which seems to be the unlucky draw...

CONCLUSION: It was fun to tempt fate and get unknown dices, but the time and money cost of this experience costed quite a bit, so I would recommend that you just buy your favourite set instead! And as for us...we will probably just buy dices from UK for a while...because the custom charge was a bit painful...

I can admit, I'm kind of addicted. Dice blind bags are pure evil of the best sort.
