Kraken Dice proudly presents Mulholland Sunset

Few places on earth can match the beauty of a sunset in the Golden State. Just like pulling over the the crest of Mulholland Drive at sunset and seeing the perfect blend of warm colors fill the sky as we continue our daily trek around the sun.

Please note that Mulholland sunset was created as a smaller test run of 1000 gold ink sets and 300 naked sets. 500 gold ink sets will be listed on 08.23.19 and the remaining 500 will be listed at a later, currently undetermined, date. At this time we cannot commit to a second production run for Mulholland Sunset, and it may not return in the future, as we have many other projects and designs we are working through before determining which sets will be mass produced.

Mulholland Sunset uses our new larger mold with our signature d2 and are being produced as test run before determination is made for them to become a regularly stocked item. The first batch we produced 1000 sets in gold ink, and 300 sets without ink.

    I'm pleasantly surprised by how these dice are set up. The preview shows deliberately that the D6 is the easiest to catch all the colors this set has to offer, while it's much harder to view on the other dice - giving a sort of shimmer throughout something that's mostly a flaming orange or shining gold. The larger-sided dice end up redder, and the smaller-sided dice (Especially the D4 and D2) end up yellower, likely as a result of the casting. The lilac pink and the pineapple white is often difficult to spot, requiring a the dice to be backlit to shimmer more truly through the glitter.
    The casting form of Kraken Dice itself is beautiful, don't mistake that. they have soft edges and a really clean shine.

    These are very bright, they cheer me up whenever I look at them. :) I had expected more pink, but I'm not disappointed.

    Loved it, it was very pretty and sparkly. Though some of the dice looked more 'blended' than the others, which made them look orange rather than having "layers" to them. The cute mini-d20 and the huge d20 were fun additions!

    I adore these dice, they look like you captured the happiness of a late sunny afternoon outside. I don’t usually like dice in this color range but these may be my favorite dice ever!

    When I saw this set first advertised I knew I wanted them. The name, the colors, all of it gave me a pang of home. I've never quite seen a Mulholland sunset captured so well in a set of click-clacks.

    I Love this dice set the colors are fantastic! I love that they look like a freshly made tequila sunrise. The transition from red-orange to a light yellow is perfect.
