Darkness appears to be all around you and you start praying for a miracle. The last of the torches flickers against the inevitable and your band of adventurers begin to feel the weight of being lost in this cursed labyrinth for what seems like days.
Growls echo around you… where is it coming from?! The ranger cries out as something slashes their leg. Is this how it all ends? “I can’t hit what I can’t see!” screams the barbarian. The druid steps to the middle of the path before you. Squinting with just the faint amount of light left from the dying embers, it’s hard to tell what is happening. She begins to mutter and her voice begins to rise with the familiar incantation. A smile crosses your face.
Suddenly, an explosion of pink and violet light bursts before your companions down the corridor. Creatures crawling along the walls and crouched on the floor hiss at the druid, now each shedding a dim, magical light. “Now that’s more like it!” roars the barbarian as they launch forward for an assault. Seems you have your miracle, after all.
